Matthew Ryan is the CEO and a board member of TMC, a transportation engineering consultancy firm in Orlando, Florida. Responsible for Sales, Operations, and Growth, Matthew Ryan also leads mergers and acquisitions and over financial reporting including EBITDA growth for TMC, which is a private equity backed firm.

Previously, Mr. Ryan was the CEO, President, and Board Chair of S&ME in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he oversaw geotechnical engineering, environmental services, and construction services such as CEI and materials testing. He and his team also created a world-class summer internship program.

Mr. Ryan held several key positions over 16 years at HDR Inc. in Washington, DC. Beginning as a Project Manager in 2000, he excelled in customer satisfaction, sales, and operations. In 2017, he became Executive Vice President. He was awarded HDR’s Pathfinder achievement award for Leadership, where only two out of three thousand employees are awarded annually.

Mr. Ryan's other positions include Chief Growth Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales at Industrial Piping in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a senior management post at Infrastructure Management Group in Bethesda, Maryland. He served as a Senior Policy Director for the House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform and a senior manager for the Government Accountability Office in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Ryan earned his BS degree in Finance and an MBA in Finance at George Mason University.
